THE RULES
Everyone must follow them.

First off, thank you for checking the rules! We use a three strike method, like many other roleplays. Any rule that is broken, will result in a strike or automatic ban from the roleplay, depending on the severity of the rule break.

● No Bullying ●
Report it to staff if you ever see this happening. This won't be tolerated, and will be dealt with immediately.
● Swearing is allowed here. ●
In group only, and never in RP. If someone asks you to stop, please do.
● All kits must have biological parents ●
It makes little sense for a kit to be born in a clan and both parents are dead, or that a random caretaker decided to take you in. This also applies to rogues/loners/kittypets.
● You may have 3 characters ●
the third can be applied for. If you have good activity and only then, may you create a third character. In which case, your third character must be a kit of two parents in your clan and you MUST apply to have a 3rd character.
● Realism is required ●
This includes pelt color, eye color, designs, etc. We'll ask you to change it if we deem it unrealistic.
● Do not talk about politics/sensitive topics ●
Just don't. If someone asks you to stop, please do.
● Character deaths are planned ●
We don't want cats committing suicide, or accidentally falling off cliffs or anything extreme. Please talk to your leader about your character's death. The only exception to this rule is in terms of battle. If the wounds are bad enough, you may decide to kill your cat. Just be realistic.
● DO NOT make StarClan and/or Dark Forest Cats without permission ●
We'd honestly prefer you roleplay them out, then when they finally pass you can have them go either place. But we can't have people making dead characters willy nilly. It just wouldn't make sense.
● Do not give out the map or map password ●
I took the time to make the map for the RP, and I'd appreciate only leaders or members of the staff giving out the map or password. Anyone that is caught in my map and not in the RP, will get screenshot-ed and reported.
● Activity is important ●
If you aren't on for four days, you're flagged on our website and removed from your clan's group. After a week, your account is deleted from our website.
● No exotic breeds without express permission ●
Considering I know quite a few people who do like to play these, I'm going to allow it. But ONLY to those who have a backstory as to how that breed got where they are. And I don't want 100% genes from the exotic cat either. You can have 50% or less.
● No clan hopping ●
Unless it's vital to plot, or arranged with staff, nobody is permitted to switch clans after they join one. This also goes along with not making another character in another clan. Just don't.
● Post absences ●
Especially if you're sick and can't get on, but want to remain in the RP. We aren't mind readers, but wish the best for you in whichever situation! c:
● High ranks are earned. ●
You must be deserving of the rank ICly AND OOCly in order to recieve the rank. If for some reason your leader picks someone unqualified or inactive, please PM staff immediately.

● Apprentices must be trained at a minimum of 5 times ● Mentors, when you decide to take on an apprentice you must be active and your apprentice must be willing to learn.
● Queens must be pregnant for 5-7 days. ●
The day must be arranged with your clan's medicine cat and all the kits. Not all kits have to be present, but the medicine cat does.
● Aging Rules ●
Kits { 1 day = 1 Moon }
Apprentices { 2 days = 1 moon}
Warriors & Etc { 1 Week = 1 Moon }
● Use realistic prefixes and suffixes ●
We will ask you to change them if they don't meet our criteria. We even have a neat name guide for help.
● Forbidden love has to be approved by
both leaders and BOTH founders●
No ifs, ands, or buts. You'll receive a strike if you don't. Only up to TWO will be allowed at the time, but it is not first come first serve.
● Do not explore and/or congregate in camps ●
OOCly or not, you are not permitted to go to any other clan's camp but your own without permission from that clan's leader.
● In order to make a kittypet, loner, or rogue, you must audition for it when there are open slots. ●
We've had issues in the past where there have been too many attacks of rogues/loners and an influx of kittypets. This allows us to control the population. CLICK ME to take me directly to the audition thread.
● Do not change your character's name or rank without permission ●
9/10 times, we'll let you. Just let us know before you do.
● Litter numbers will be randomly generated, varying from 1-4 kits ●
Whenever a queen is expecting, a staff member will use a number generator to decide how many kits that queen can have that particular litter. You can choose to have the amount of kits allotted to you, or less.
● Once your character is dead, you do not have permission to visit cats in their dreams, give prophecies, etc. ●
If there is ever a need for it, and your cat is related or had a strong relationship to the one that anythings about, we'll let you know. But don't just do it for fun.
● Other animals are allowed with special permission ●
Sometimes, we'll have fox events or badger events, etc. So sometimes we'll open small auditions for animals, but they aren't to be brought into the map otherwise.
● Do NOT advertise for other roleplays anywhere in our map(s) or on the website ●
I didn't think to add this rule before, but just so there's not a misunderstanding I'm adding it anyway.
● Your characters cannot be from any clans other than the two in this roleplay ●
Due to a misunderstanding, this rule had to be added. It makes little sense for other clans to be around, as each roleplay is an AU of the books.
● Important times ●
Gathering times are every friday @ 8PM EST, 7PM CST
only 6 non high ranks will attend the gathering.
Starlight Springs Medicine Cat Meetings are every Saturday @ TBA
